Workers find relevant opportunities; employers find available labour.

BlueLink responds to fragmented recruitment, informal referrals and missing employment records in blue-collar work. It links workers and employers through two connected digital journeys and an offline touchpoint at the worksite, so opportunity discovery, identity, communication, scheduling and work evidence can belong to one service rather than separate channels.
Desk research located the pressures surrounding wages, social security, labour identity, working conditions and limited career progression. Interviews then compared how workers search, judge trust and record experience with how employers recruit, verify and retain labour.
Workers and employers do not lack channels. They lack a continuous, trusted connection between those channels.

Workers find relevant opportunities; employers find available labour.
Needs, skills, location and timing become comparable.
Communication and schedules continue after the first contact.
Work logs and financial evidence support future trust.

Opportunity discovery, matching, communication, schedules and a visible record of completed work.
Recruitment, applicant comparison, coordination and continuity across changing teams and projects.
Work logs and financial records make temporary labour less invisible and improve the quality of later matching.

The terminal extends access beyond an individual phone and creates a shared point for identification, matching and service continuity at the place where work happens.

The proposal combines a worker-facing app, an employer-facing app, a shared service system and an offline worksite terminal into one hybrid employment platform.
Job access improves when matching is not treated as a single transaction, but as a continuous relationship between people, place, evidence and opportunity.↗View the complete BlueLink project PDFDesk research, interviews, personas, system map, interface flows, physical touchpoint, service blueprint and evaluation
